Marcus Thompson
Director, Client Relationships
Marcus Thompson serves as Director of Client Relationships for Terrex Development & Construction, where he fosters strategic partnerships and delivers high-quality development and construction services. A 2008 graduate of Seton Hill University with a B.A. in Business Communications, Marcus brings a wealth of experience to his role.
An active community leader, Marcus serves on numerous boards, including Great Parks of Hamilton County, NewPath, the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky African American Chamber, Cincinnati Youth Collaborative, Angelman Syndrome Foundation, Jeff Ruby Foundation, and The Children’s Theatre. One of Marcus’s favorite volunteer activities is participating in Saturday Hoops, a community program that brings together friends and local youth for fun, faith, and positive role modeling through various activities on Saturday mornings.
Marcus’s contributions have earned him widespread recognition. In 2024, he was named an inaugural “513 Serves” Honoree for his outstanding community service. In 2023, he was recognized as a Making Black History Honoree by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and honored as a Distinguished Alumni by the Forest Hills Local School District. In 2022, he was named a Top Young Professional by Engineering News Record. Marcus also received the Distinguished Alumni award from Seton Hill University in 2020 and was a Forty Under 40 Award Recipient by the Cincinnati Business Courier in 2018. Additionally, he is a graduate of Leadership Central Kentucky (2016) and C-Change, a leadership program of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber (2019).
Marcus resides in Cincinnati, Ohio, with his wife, Ashley, their son, Zechariah, their daughter, Zoé. His dedication to family, community, and professional excellence positions Marcus Thompson as an inspiring leader and role model in both his personal and professional life.
