An international public company will establish an aerospace inspection and testing center at the former site of the Cincinnati Gardens.
Texas-based Team Inc. has signed a lease for the entire Nextek Phase 1 building, a more than 74,600-square-foot speculative advanced manufacturing building built on 5.3 acres of land that was formerly home to the Cincinnati Gardens. There, Team will establish a state-of-the-art facility that is expected to create 75 jobs and be home to a total of 150 jobs as the company expands its service offerings in the aerospace industry.
Terrex Development & Construction LLC partnered with Messer Financial Services to develop the spec industrial building, buying about 4 acres of land from the Port. The total investment for the project is $6.5 million.
