The development and construction team, along with the University of Cincinnati, celebrated a milestone in the construction of the Digital Futures Building in the Cincinnati Innovation District.

A topping-out ceremony was held Tuesday at the Digital Futures Building, the first office building in the Digital Futures Complex, which was previously known as Uptown Gateway. The ceremony celebrates the placing of the last beam on the structure, with work now moving to the exterior of the building and then interior construction.

The Digital Futures Complex is a $200 million mixed-use project being developed by Terrex Development & Construction and Messer Construction Co. UC has leased the entire first building, a 189,000-square-foot building that will provide interdisciplinary research in the Cincinnati Innovation District.
